Sul tavolo le foto di nonna. Tiene la mamma
per mano, ancora una bambina.
Di questa foto non so nulla.
Mamma mi ha parlato poco della sua vita.
Eppure conosco.
Sento, in un modo che non si può spiegare,
che una parte di me è profondamente connessa
con un mondo che c'era prima.
Come risuonano dentro di noi le presenze silenziose di un passato che non conosciamo?

Pictures of grandma on the table. She holds mother, still a child, by the hand. Mummy’s face is slightly sulky.
Mummy told me very little about her life. And yet I know.
I feel, in a way that cannot be explained, that a part of me is deeply connected to a world that existed “beforehand”.
A group of performers look for fragments of their family stories, in photographs, objects, clothes...
In the course of their research they question how these traces resonate in their own bodies; during the performance they produce an autobiographical composition of actions, sounds and words, all within a non-linear dramaturgy.
